We had a terrible experience with a new worker doing a estimate that had I know it all attitude and didn’t know how to answer questions which he should have had an experienced person with him if he was not trained enough. He also called me and my wife poor and not able to afford new flooring. He was making up numbers based off what we said and over priced things compared to several other professional flooring companies, which he said they don’t know what they are talking about because they are just trying to get money out of you an everything level and perfect.
Amy Crutchfield at Giant Don's in Anchorage is AMAZING!!! Highly recommend working with her! She was professional, courteous, efficient, great communication and response time, accommodating, and the list goes on. Super impressed! I will go back again and again simply because of the ease of working with her. I highly recommend reaching out to her for all your flooring needs!Must mention, the job is done and the floors (both carpet and vinyl) look great! There was a gentleman in the store too (I feel terrible that I can't remember his name) when I stopped there and he was also fantastic. Overall great experience.
I spent thousands of dollars to carpet and install vinyl plank flooring for my entire house. I wanted to support a local company so went with Giant Dons.Unfortunately for me, I have had problems with the stair noses and the transition pieces at the doors They continually pop off which is a hazard. My son in law fell down the stairs while holding my grandson, thank goodness they weren’t hurt. That particular stair nose was ruined and Giant Dons said they don’t have a replacement.From my salesperson, Alex to the manager, Mike I have been on permanent ignore even though the products are guaranteed. It’s been months.I noticed the reviews on the website are super positive so I don’t expect my review to be presented but I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person who has experienced dissatisfaction and disappointment with Giant Dons.My two cents and thanks for the vent.
From the sales associate to the installer , A+++, excellent customer service, great products. A special shout out to Kevin he does brilliant work , very meticulous and he takes great pride in his work…perfectionist!! We replaced all the carpet and full laminate throughout the house . Looks so pectacular . I highly recommend if you want ideal flooring ….Giant Dons…look no further . Check out the before and after of our stairs !!
Bought the carpet in may and was told that installation would be done as soon as the weather allowed for it, called multiple times over the summer and it was finally installed in October, IN THE SNOW! Once they finally got it installed they left the faces of the steps unfinished, terrible service and terrible end product, would definitely recommend using a different installer.
