Varouj and his excellent team (Cang and Rigo) did an absolutely beautiful job installing gorgeous wide plank engineered hardwood flooring in my condo. As so many others have said, Varouj is extremely responsive and his prices are very reasonable, especially given the really careful, expert craftmanship of his team. He was a pleasure to work with in so many ways. He fit me in to a very busy schedule. He was fast to respond to a number of questions that arose as I was searching for just the right product (which I found at ProSource of Boston and would also highly recommend). And, he was fine about moving furniture out of the way and installing one flooring section, then moving furniture back to do the remaining section. (This seems eminently sensible, but I was stunned when others I interviewed told me I’d have to move all the furniture out altogether – which simply wasn’t necessary and would have been a significant hardship for me.) Most of all, the workmanship was just wonderful. The guys very carefully lifted the tv cable running along the baseboards, installed the quarter round molding, and stapled the cable back in place very neatly. Everything was installed just perfectly - quarter-round molding around the perimeter cut and installed to perfection, thresholds very nicely done, and best of all the excellent workers cleaned up beautifully and left not a speck of dust behind. I would very highly recommend Varouj and The Floor Sanders, and hope to have them back soon to do my kitchen floor.
Varouj and his team did an incredible job for a great price sanding and refinishing the original hardwood floors in my condo. He was professional and quick to respond to any questions I had about the process. The floors look and feel great, and they even fixed up a few gaps and holes in the wood which I was not expecting. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his team to anyone looking to refinish their floors!
Great Results. I booked the job based on having a conversation with Varouj. I told him about the stiletto heel indentations, black rug spots and sun spots, and I gave him the approximate size. His quote was on-point with two others I got.To my surprise, he was able to get out all the problem area listed above! Other companies said they would be able to lighten those areas, but not get them out completely. Floor Sanders got them all out and made my floors look brand new. I would highly recommend.
These guys did a bang up job on our 100 yr old floors. The floors look stunning! Varouj and his team were highly professional, reliable and worked hard to get the job done within tight parameters (budget and time). It really pays to go with someone who has worked exclusively in flooring for the last 35 years. I can not recommend them highly enough!
