The first photo is the before , the 2nd is after Saurav and his crew from step ahead flooring worked their magic.Some background first: our original flooring was maple wood hardwood and I reached out to step ahead for sanding and staining a lighter color. Unfortunately, Sauravs crew was not available and hence they sent some novice to do our work who did an extremely shoddy job. The sanding was done in a pathetic way which affected the shine and stain of the hardwood floor.I reached out to step ahead to remediate this issue. Saurav dropped by for a quick check and provided a good estimate to replace the hardwood flooring with engineered hardwood. From providing the quote to the day of change, sauravs communication was top notch.His team made sure the materials were dropped 2 days before to get acclimatized at our place. They showed up 30 minutes before schedule (welcome change as compared to other contractors) and finished work ahead of time. In and out within 8 hours .His crew was extremely professional and knew exactly what to do. From laying the flooring to putting in baseboards and shoe molds , this crew was by far the best to work with.The 2nd photo also shows the transition between our kitchen and hardwood. Despite the kitchen flooring being uneven , step ahead crew knew exactly what to do and did a fine job adding a T mold to make the transition flush and smooth.I’m sure to reach out to this crew for any future work at our place.I will highly recommend Step ahead flooring for any of your flooring needs. The crew was professional, easy to work with, and kept everything clean along the way. Their pricing was also very reasonable and the floors looked great!
