Recent reviews frequently mention friendly, responsive staff who bring samples and keep customers updated from order to installation. Many note fair pricing and clean, careful installs for carpet and hard surfaces. A smaller set of reviews cite scheduling miscommunication and concerns about product durability on certain jobs. Overall sentiment trends positive with emphasis on communication and workmanship.

Mike at Big Bob's flooring was amazing! He was friendly, professional and brought lots of samples for us to look at to find the perfect flooring. He kept us updated on the delivery and installation process. Alex and his installation team went above and beyond with the quality of work. The floors turned out beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience!

I have used Big Bobs 4 times now and always recommend to my friends. They are always fairly priced, helpful, reliable and install beautifully!

Vanessa Villalobos on Big Bob's Flooring Colorado

James was awesome to work with! Super responsive and really paid attention to what we wanted. Our floors and carpet came out amazing and we’re so happy with how everything turned out. Definitely recommend!

What an experience… where do I start? Big bobs had competitive pricing and Randy sold me on a “20 year floor”. Excited for the project, we put down a deposit of half the total cost. The. Day they were supposed to show up, they didn’t. When I called Randy, he told me that they had tried calling me multiple times and that they couldn’t get into the house without the code. At this point, I was confused as I never received any phone calls and I left the lockbox code with multiple people (including Randy). At this point, I should’ve trusted my gut and cancelled the project as I gelt like Randy was being dishonest (more to the story coming). The next day, they showed up and installed the floor. We weren’t present during the installation, but were rather shocked when we got to the home. The floor installed was the complete wrong color, all of the trash and old flooring was in a pile in my yard, the cabinets that we had just redone had a puncture through it, the dryer/washing machine wasn’t hooked back up and the new flooring was scratched from dragging them into place. We weren’t present during not happy. I notified Randy of the main issue (the floor being the wrong color) and he denied tag it was wrong. He told me that was the right color, even though it clearly wasn’t. After sending him a photo with the sample next to what was installed, he made up story that what I had wanted was custom and they didn’t have it. If that was the case, why not say something rather than installing something completely different? I also told him that our yard was filled with trash (which I had to pay to have removed), cabinets were broken (which I had to repair), and that they didn’t leave us a box of extras for future repairs (more on that in a second). He said he was going to come up with a solution, then dropped off the map. I made multiple attempts to contact him so that we could resolve this matter with no success. Six months later this man calls me asking for the other half of payment for the job. I asked why he had dropped off the planet and his excuse was that he had Covid. I asked how he was going to remedy the fact that everything was done wrong and that we didn’t have a box of spares and he didn’t have an answer. He asked me how to make it right, and at that point my answer was that inmates a refund. He wouldn’t do that but instead said we were square and didn’t owe him and money. Fast forward a couple years and the floor is falling apart. Edges tearing up, lots of movement and it just keeps getting worse. When I got in contact with Big Bobs they sent the owner along with someone to inspect the floor. She essentially blamed us because I had glued some of the pieces back to prevent the floor from looking like total garbage. The best part is, they are unable to repair it because they never provided us with the extra planks and the manufacturer no longer makes the floor. So now the whole floor has to be replaced. She told us that we basically got a free floor and that made it harder to help us, despite the fact that the floor was falling apart due to incorrect installation, that we had no spares because Randy dropped the ball and that the only reason we got such a “deal” was because Randy screwed up so badly. She said that she would try to help us with the replacement, and I believed her. Until she sent me the estimate for OVER $4000. That’s hardly helping. I’m disgusted that my “20 year” floor is falling apart after a few years and now will require complete replacement. Randy is nothing more than a sleazy carpet salesman who will lie to get out of anything, and Big Bobs continues to employ him without having any accountability. Awful.

*UPDATE*
My flooring continues to get worse, seemingly by the day. Because of IMPROPER installation, it is bowing and breaking itself. I have attached but a few examples where you can see where it’s either broken or breaking itself. The installer didn’t even care to make the flooring disappear under the trim in some place. Big Bobs is a Big mistake. Do yourself a Big favor and avoid Big “hackjob” Bobs.

This is a very dishonest company that will take your money and not stand behind their work. We spent over $20k on flooring for our home in Breckenridge. We told the sales person we rent the place out when we are not using it and he sold us an LVP product that he claimed would be durable and would hold up against water and renters. Well three years later the floors look like crap. They are popping and swelling in different places, seams coming apart and chipping. The floors look embarrassing and need to replaced. I am not looking for a refund or even free floors, but I was looking for some sort of resolution like store credit on materials that I could used towards replacing the garbage they sold us. Basically I was hoping to find a middle ground. I called and spoke with Cheri the owner and right away she told me it was a manufacture issue, not a workmanship issue. This was without even seeing the floors. When I sent her pictures she then ignored me when I followed up with her several times. Then I spoke with their GM Randy, who was very condescending and after a few conversations told us to pound sand. He said since our place was used as a rental the manufacture's warranty would be void. I told him we discussed the use with the sale's person so why did they sell us this product? Randy's response was "that sale's person is no longer with us". As if that absolves them of responsibility. Then I asked to see the manufacture's warranty, then the excuse shifted to "that manufacturer is no longer in business". Randy is a shifty guy. If you want to spend a lot of money with a company and when there is a problem they take zero responsibility then Big Bob's Flooring is your place.
