Had porcelain tile floor installed. Within a few months, grout was coming out in several areas. After several unswerving emails, phone messages and going there in person, they sent someone to do repairs. Less than a year later, same problem. Several tiles are not adhered to the floor and a few tiles have cracked. We have left numerous messages and have gone to the store twice in the past year and were told the person we need to speak to isn’t there but they will have him contact us. Then we hear nothing. The tiles were not properly installed.Update: They have gotten in touch with us and have offered to re-do/replace flooring. We selected replacement tile 2 weeks ago. Waiting to hear back to get installation scheduled. Plan to update review once work is completed. (Hopefully I will be able to replace the original review with a 5-star positive review)Problem still not resolved. Flooring replaced (with some additional cost to us) Job not done correctly. Way it was installed does not look good. Problems with grout work. Contacted Louies and were told to contact installer. Did that. Arranged time for him to come look at and fix problems. After waiting over an hour past scheduled time, he contacted us and said he forgot and would contact us following week to set a new time.
We used Louie's Floor Coverings on our basement finish. We didn't know for sure what we wanted or needed. But Beth was super helpful and guided us in our choices. We scheduled install and the work was done right as described in the time we needed it. Very happy with Beth and Jeff and the whole team at Louie's. Plan to use them again soon, and I tell everyone I speak with about flooring that they are my go to place.
Had carpet replaced and Nick was very helpful in picking flooring that fit our budget that looks great and would last. The install crews did a great job in hiding seems making sure it was installed correctly to last. With the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff this is the only place I will ever buy flooring!
The staff at Louie's (Mike, Randy, & Jeff) were very nice but the experience could have been better. I paid for my mom's floor $1,424. The installer showed up and saw there was a couch. He left. My sister then moved the couch so the room was empty. The installer came back the next day. He took about 8 hours for a small room. (There were 2 men). We've had this done before. It was done in 4 hours with 1 person. There were some minor flaws. Louie's charged extra for moving furniture. As you can see, the room is empty. I'm grateful they made it right by refunding the mover fee. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2. It could have been a better experience.
Absolutely LOVE our new floors. Beth and her team at Louie’s made the process so, so easy! They fast, clean, careful, and the product is such great quality for a great price. I won’t even consider going anywhere else for any future flooring needs!
