My experience started off with John Namen, owner of Mercury Carpet. From beginning to end, this company went the extra mile. From John visiting my home, to me going to their lovely showroom to make sure of my purchase...to having the installers John (2nd John!) and Zenon installing the carpet yesterday. A top notch job and extreme flexibility with whatever I needed. In fact, John went the extra mile to help me "tuck" some carpet by tile that I had installed years ago to make it like new! And Zenon meticulously wrapped the extra carpet for attic storage. Also they arrived exactly when they said they would. I would absolutely do business with Mercury in the future for any of my carpet or floor needs. And should I mention...they had a great showroom with lots of choices!
Mercury Carpet delivered and installed for us a beautiful stair runner and matching mats on time and for a competitive price. After installation one of the mats needed to be cut down, something they did for no extra charge. Cristal has a command of materials, binding, and installation options combined with an interior designer's keen eye for color, space coordination, and cost that led us to confident choices and a quality, expertly installed finished product.
Nice family owned business with friendly, no pressure sales members who will work to get you the best product for your price point. The best reason for going with Mercury however is their installers. Eddie, (carpet) and Robert and Chance (wood installations) have the experience, skills, and attention to detail you rarely fine at any cost. I would happily recommend them to my friends.

Everything about working with this business is a pleasure, from selection to installation. Mercury is the gold standard in custom flooring.
I reached out to Mercury to see if they could cut and bind a rug that I was considering from Restoration Hardware. In addition to providing a quote, Cristal sent over some similar samples from Mercury. Whereas the RH rug was synthetic, Mercury’s looked identical and was true wool. They also allowed me to pick the exact thread and binding I wanted. Mercury’s product was more custom, higher quality, and a much better price. I was sold. Since then, I’ve used Mercury for many rugs and stairway runners. They have a huge selection and all of the staff are so friendly. They have saved me so much time and money over the years. If I just show Cristal a photo, she works her magic! She has a keen eye for detail and a memory that is truly impressive. I would recommend them to anyone.
