Our steep staircase leading to the basement was an accident waiting to happen with no safety railing in place. We finally decided to suck it up and fix the problem, and Totta Hardwoods came to the rescue! They were very responsive when reaching out for an estimate, and very thorough explaining what the issues were, where we could cut corners with the costs, and what needed to happen to make the staircase safe to use. The final product looks PHENOMENAL and the price was reasonable for how professional it looks! Seriously, cannot thank these guys enough for their craft and expertise. We highly recommend Totta Hardwoods!
Totta Hardwoods completed our sanding and refinishing project recently. Damian, Joshua, and TJ were very professional and did quality work. The sanding process they used enabled us to be present in the home due to the minimal amount of dust in the air. Our Tigerwood floor looks amazing and the stair treads are a great color contrast. They worked with us to find the right color combination for this challenging wood type.We would recommend giving Totta Hardwoods the opportunity to earn your business if considering a hardwood project.
Our new flooring and open staircase are a beautiful display of craftsmanship. We are very pleased with the work done by Totta Hardwoods. The open stairs, circa 1987, and adjoining banisters and balcony spindles presented a design challenge with budget concerns. In the course of getting several bids, the solution suggested by Mike Totta proved to be practical, affordable, and absolutely beautiful. We love the results, which maintain the open look while bringing the treads up to code. David gave 100% attention to every detail on the stairs, adding a modern solution while hinting at the existing style of our home. Randy, Christian, TJ, and Damien were dedicated to caring for every detail of every board laid on the floors in our home. We liked that our flooring was sourced from Missouri. The entire process was easy: hassle free communication, easy scheduling, tidy workspace, and craftsmen who were trustworthy and well mannered around our family throughout the process. We hired the Totta Hardwood Guys to fix the squeaks in our hardwood floors, and they did an amazing job!! The floors feel solid and quiet now, which has made such a big difference throughout the house! While working with them, we also decided to have the floors refinished, and we’re so glad we did. They helped us choose the perfect stain color and the finished result is exactly what we were hoping for.They went above and beyond by replacing a few rotted boards underneath the toilet in our bathroom, and everything looks seamless. The trim work was also handled with care when they reinstalled it to the baseboards, they repainted and touched everything up so it looked clean and polished.Ben, Mike, Damian, and the whole team were friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and easy to work with. You can tell they all care about the work they are doing and making things look great! My husband and I highly recommend them!!
