They provided a detailed quote and brought samples to our home to match the existing flooring closely.The work was completed on time and they fixed a few minor issues quickly.We would recommend them for reliable flooring services.
Abi was very kind, helpful and patient when we went to the store to match specific colours, borrow samples and ask many questions. Abi and his crew were hard working and efficient during flooring and carpet removal and vinyl plank flooring installation. They completed two floors in three days which was ahead of schedule. Pricing was fair, the team was reliable and it was a positive experience working with Petun from start to finish. The flooring looks great and we appreciate the customer service we received. We came to Abi after the floors in our 2021 build were a complete wreck. The installer and the flooring store both refused to take responsibility for our click laminate having separation of 0.5-4cm in over a dozen places, pointing fingers in each other's respective directions.To avoid the same situation, we were only willing to work with a retailer who performed the install themselves.Abi was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Prompt responses, helpful recommendations, a fair quote, install within the promised timeframe, and fantastic final product (with many compliments). We replaced the flooring on our entire main floor (bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, etc.), totaling over 1200 sq ft. One or two minor miscommunications during the install, but nothing worse than any other trades/service person.Don't be put off by the showroom being less fancy than some of the well-advertised retailers on Victoria St. When we arrived, Abi's wife had to video call him to give us some recommendations - when we saw him sweating from actively working on someone's house that's when we knew we had our guy.We asked for a walkthrough before sending final payment. We had a couple questions about really minor things and while it was more of just a double-check to make sure we understood what was within tolerance, Abi's initial response was to instantly offer to come back and get things closer to perfect. While we didn't take him up on this (again, minor imperfections that sounded like more of a liability to correct than leave), we appreciated that unlike many tradespeople, his instinct was not to get defensive and make excuses.Highly recommend Abi. Will definitely keep him in mind for flooring or blinds needs.
