Recent online reviews note a wide selection and helpful showroom staff. Some feedback mentions inventory and scheduling expectations; calling ahead to confirm availability is recommended.

Malissa at National Flooring was great at helping my wife sort thru the multitude of tile choices, and find beautiful patterns we both liked! She helped make the process smooth and enjoyable, and even beat the prices of her competitors.
Great customer service... she also
recommended suppliers for products she did not carry. We highly recommend working with Malissa at National Flooring Group!

UPDATE: The manager reached out to us and demanded we remove this review or he would no longer work with us to resolve the issue (meaning leaving us with no floors after paying his company $15,000).

We also discovered that not only did they not install a vapor barrier despite it being required by the manufacturer's installation guide -they CHARGED us for the vapor barrier and installation and never installed it.

We have filed a complaint with the Nevada State Contractor's Board and are hoping these issues can be resolved through mediation, but as of this writing, working with the company directly has resulted in no resolution and we have spent $15,000 and have been living on our concrete slab for most of this year.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
We hired National Flooring Group to install cork flooring in our home, and the experience has been extremely disappointing and costly.

From the very beginning, the installation was mishandled. The installers failed to put down a vapor barrier over the subfloor, even though the manufacturer’s manual explicitly required it. As a result, moisture accumulated beneath the floors, leading to mold growth under the flooring and possibly into our walls. They also glued down what should have been a floating floor, denied it, and would not admit it until proof was provided (obvious glue with chunks of cork stuck to our subfloor).

When the floors began buckling and warping (less than a year after installation), the company initially tried to blame us and charge us for the mold remediation. They finally admitted fault and removed the flooring in June. They also hired a mold remediation company that did an unprofessional job—we can still smell mold in our guest bedroom to this day, and are concerned about possible health ramifications.

We were told new materials would be ordered through the manufacturer and ready for installation by late August. It is now early September, and not only are the floors still missing, but we recently received a call where the manager argued with us about even reinstalling them—revealing that they never actually ordered the replacement materials at all despite our prior agreement.

To date, we have spent over $14,000 for floors that were installed incorrectly, removed due to the damage they caused, caused possible health hazards, and still have no replacement or refund. Instead of making things right, this company has been evasive, unprofessional, and unwilling to take responsibility in any meaningful way.

I cannot in good conscience recommend National Flooring Group to anyone. Their negligence has left us with no flooring, possible mold damage in our home, possible healthy hazards and no clear resolution in sight. Hopefully they will take the steps necessary to remedy this situation, but currently we are not hopeful, and will be seeking legal counsel.

I contracted with National Flooring for 4.5 Bathroom upgrades, changeout of all flooring to engineered hardwood and a Kitchen & Living Room upgrades. The project lasted nearly a year as it was done in phases. No complaints, great customer service, assistance with color selections, all subcontractors did excellent work and in accordance with local codes. There were challenges like any large project, but the National Flooring team always found ways to work through them.
Two years later, no issues with their final work product. You won't find a better home remodel contractor than this.

They went above and beyond!!! The attention and concern for detail was phenomenal. I was very impressed with the HUGE selection of flooring they have. My every interaction has been dealt with genuine care. I am going through a major remodel of my home and so glad that I'm in good hands and chose them.

We visited many flooring stores in the valley but National Flooring had the BEST selection - a great variety of options. Their service was exceptional. They consistently followed up with us on the shipping and then installation timeline. And the installers took time to really assess the room and layout the best pattern. The floor turned out beautiful because of the extra time and effort that the installers took. HIGHLY recommend this store and especially Ozzy who really looked out for us! Thank you!
