BEWAREI have 35 years experience in construction and dealing with suppliers. I like Mirage product and I deal With Loiselle to buy there product . This time for one of my clients we at the misfortune to go Barwood pilon west Island because it was closer for my clients.We give them the sample for quality and COLOR of Mirage product that we had before bought for Loiselle without never had a problem - This time Barwood Pilon made a big mistake that was the right quality but not the right finish - Contrary of the other supplier they did not give us a sample to approve. And refuse to accept there mistake they where very very rude to us. We did not claim anything for the color of the floor but we ask them to negotiate with us for the stairs we have paid and finish of the right color - They refuse and claim by the manager 15 times that was our opinion - and refuse to accept responsibility for anything - SO BEWARE if you have a claim they will send packing.In my 35 years in construction as a client never be treated with so badly. They are lucky that I don't mention any names.
We are very happy with Antonio and all his help in deciding which floor to pick for our living/dining room. The installer Etienne was very professional and he cleaned up after all the cuttings. We would recommend Barwood and Etienne for anyone who is looking for reliable and trustworthy people.
I had a terrible experience with this store. The salesman completely lied about the quality of the floors. He claimed it was the best wood in the market and that no scratches or dents would happen. This is completely false. I have plenty of dents and cracks in wood in less than a year. When I spoke about it with the owner, he said he would come see me in January. I am still waiting for him to come more than 9 months later. Their after sales service is non-existent. You are paying top dollar for floors with zero customer service. Stay away from them.
The store salesman is very charm when selling the flooring planks but when I received it was completely different than what I selected. And the manager is very rude to restock it I lost $2000. Do not deal with this store they DO NOT LISTEN AFTER THE SALE.. it’s completely unacceptable.I will update the good news to come soon.READY TO GO TO CIVIL COURT AND ONCE I WON I LL KEEP YOU POSTED.
We had great customer service at Barwood Pilon from Antonio. We received the floor this week and installed them and they look Amazing. Antonio really recommended us to go with the Mirage collection and it was well worth it to invest in the mirage hardwood floors since they are simply outstanding. We trusted the quality of the floors since we know people who bought Mirage floors 20 years ago and they still look at same after 20 years. You can't go wrong when selecting Mirage hardwood floors. The floors are made in Canada and it was important for us to go with a local made product to encourage the local economy. It is even more important now with Covid to encourage local business.
