Ordered 40 buckets of Bostik's Greenforce and shipped to GA. Joey was really helpful and answered all the questions I had. I paid, they sent the product on time, no fuss. I would definitely work with JB warehouse flooring again. Great Company!
Extremely Disappointing Experience!I had a horrible experience with this company. I selected flooring from JB Wholesale based on a sample in their showroom, after clearly reiterating both in person and by text what I wanted: at least 70–80% long boards and minimal color variation. Before leaving town, I gave my installer detailed instructions and the exact name and specs of the floor I ordered, asking him to leave out any short boards or with heavy variation. However, the flooring that arrived did not match the sample name, color, or specifications. Instead of mostly long boards, I received 70–80% short boards and a completely different shade with much more variation. When my installer noticed the mismatch, he texted me immediately. He opened a few boxes to compare, and none of them matched the showroom sample or specs I requested. I contacted the salesperson with photos to show the difference, but instead of helping, their attitude completely changed, from friendly during the sale to rude and unprofessional once I raised the issue.I remained respectful and simply asked to return the product or exchange it for one that met my original request. My installer then informed me that the JB salesperson blocked my phone number and even said they would block the driveway if I tried to return the floors! Since I was out of state, I couldn’t resolve it in person immediately. The next day, I was told I had to come in personally before any return could be processed. When I finally managed to return the product, they charged a 30% restocking fee and additional fees for the boxes my installer had opened just to confirm the product was wrong. I repackaged everything carefully and returned it, but the experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish! They charged me $5,198 for their mistake! In addition to the other charges I incurred from this horrible experience!MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:I’m not sure how I was “misleading” or “mistaken.” I flew in specifically to select flooring in person, and I chose my product directly from your showroom sample. The photos I posted were taken by the installer, the same installer your company has used before who was the first to alert me that the floors delivered did not match the sample. Anyone can clearly see they were completely different in both color and length variation.I also have multiple photos and text messages showing that I specifically requested 70–80% longer boards and minimal color variation. The installer’s messages confirm that the product delivered had significant variation and was not what was represented. The “extreme mismatch,” as you call it, was not due to lighting or photography it was due to the flooring itself.I’ve completed several flooring remodels before this one with other manufacturers, and higher-end products at this price point typically include 70–80% long boards, with the remainder being random lengths. It appears your company charged premium prices for an inferior product.Below I'm posting 2 additional photosThe first is a photo of the sample I selected while in person, the next 3 photos is what I got from, you, JB Wholesale, the 4th and 5th photo are text messages from the installer I used and you've used! The last 2 photos are an example from another manufacturer showing the expected percentage of long boards and my new flooring I purchased from your competition, which was 8.5” wide, 7’ long, with approximately 75% long boards and less variation, AND at a lower price than what I paid your company for the mismatched product!
Updating with photos: We had a great experience working with JB wholesale flooring. We had been shopping around for a few weeks but they had the perfect natural birch for a great price and gave lots of tips/recommendations for install. Incredibly helpful and the floors turned out beautifully.
Joey was great to work with when getting our floors. The floors were great quality overall! There were a few boards here and there in the bundles that had to be thrown out due to them being bowed or splintered, but that can be expected as wood can change shape after the milling process. JB wholesale had great options to choose from including different quality levels of wood to different widths. I believe you can get 3.25” up to 5” so a lot a variety with a great price. The floors are sourced from an Amish mill and were great quality and easy to install. The tongue and groove on all four sides also made it easier to get nice, tight footing joints that required little filling. We purchased common #1 and the results can be seen in the pictures below. We would recommend JV wholesale to anyone looking to get new hardwood floors and will likely use them again in the future!Stain color on these floors is 50% provincial and 50% golden oak from Varathane at Lowe’s.
Let me tell you about my recent experience with JB Wholesale Flooring [JBWF].I was absolutely blown away by the quality and affordability of their products. Not only did I save money, but the selection was incredible! My pick wasn't in stock and it took a while to arrive. I didn't care because on top of it all the customer service is fabulous!I had visited several other flooring stores before discovering JBWF on Facebook. Some places had me searching for products on my own, while others bombarded me with options without any explanation of the pros and cons. One even sent someone to my house who didn't listen to my needs and kept over talking me to stick to his script. But JBWF was different. They sat down with me and really listened to what I was looking for. They gave me ideas and suggestions, and showed me a variety of samples. They also explained the pros and cons of each option and even made recommendations for what to do if I decided not to buy from them.JBWF: Joey, even went above and beyond when seeing my struggle with figuring out my flooring measurements from my insurance company estimate. He offered to look at the flooring section of my estimate and explained it to me. He didn't have to do that. I am grateful. The amount of knowledge Joey has in the flooring industry is amazing. His willingness to walk me through this tedious process was humbling to me. After I made my selection and paid, Joey let me know (on more than one occasion) that I could change my mind and select from products that were currently in stock if I wanted my project to move faster. When my flooring arrived, Joey called to inform me and allowed me to send someone to pick it up. My installer also had nothing but good things to say. My installer said he was so impressed by JB wholesale flooring that he exchanged business cards with Joey. My installer said he will only be buying his flooring from JBWF here on out. JB Wholesale flooring prices are lower than the prices his company has been paying at other places. Now my installer can make a higher profit while offering his future clients a even lower cost. Sounds like a win-win to me. I'm glad I found JBWF first LoL.If you're in the market for high-quality flooring at wholesale prices with exceptional customer service, don't hesitate to call JB Wholesale Flooring. I highly recommend them, you won't regret it. Save yourself the time and hassle of searching around (I've already done that) and reach out to Joey now. Believe me, you'll thank me later just like my installer did!
