I gotta tell ya I have never in all my 30+ years of construction and home remodel work, there has never been a nicer more friendly place to work with then Baldwin's Flooring America. Don helped me out this past Saturday 12-14-2025. Instead of worrying about closing he went out of his way to get my order ready that same day and stayed after to finish my order so I could pick it up and install it. I bought carpet and flooring for the kitchen. Top customer service and top quality inventory. The people at this workplace deserve EVERYONE'S time and willingness to give them a shot for their tile and flooring needs. I will never go or buy from anywhere else and will give all my flooring work or buy products from them. We received a referral from a friend to use Baldwin's Flooring America for a project to replace about 80% of the flooring in our home. When we walked in the door we knew we came to the right place. We met Don and he worked tirelessly to find the right LVP and carpet products we wanted and then he quickly had the measurements taken and produced a detailed estimate for the work. When we mentioned that we were also needing a bathroom renovation and wanted to remodel our stairs Don referred us to a remodeling contractor who proved to be top notch.Don worked with our remodeling contractor to phase the work and as soon as the bathroom and stair work was completed our installation crew arrived and proceeded to work in an efficient and professional manner to complete our flooring. The installation crew was hard working and courteous with good communication about what they were doing and in what order the work was proceeding.Our thanks to Baldwin's Flooring, Don and the installation crew for a great experience.
I have been meaning to write a review for a few months now.We live in Colorado but we have been looking for a second home in Omaha, more then likely a home to remodel and flooring of course is a big part of it. After visiting other flooring places, we stopped in Baldwin's Flooring. When we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest of smiles, the feeling we had was of a genuine welcome and positive energy. The showroom is beautifully designed.They called a sales person who greeted us and introduced himself. Not long afterward, Dave offered us a beverage and was as friendly as it gets. We expressed our future project ideas and the type of home we have planned around.Dave not only showed us the flooring we had in mind but he was extremely knowledgeable and offered us a comparable, less expensive product we ended up loving and will actually be better for the type of home we are purchasing soon.My husband was very impressed by Dave's natural ability to not pressure us, he has a calming presence and spent as much time with us as we needed.We experienced a personal opportunity for a relationship with a place where we both felt like we were working with friends. We shared stories with Dave and he made us laugh which left us with the best impression, like going back to the days of establishing real relationships above and beyond basic transactions.We are so happy to have stopped by and chosen Baldwin's over a couple of other places that did not leave us feeling confident or at ease, the other places felt like we were just another customer as opposed to Baldwin's where we felt like we had found our home place. Baldwin's did a great job with the flooring in my basement office. I bought the carpet tile and ceramic tile from them and had them install both. Not only were they efficient and clean with the install, they took the time to test the bond of the carpet tile adhesive over the painted concrete that had been done previously. It appeared to stick well, however they still went the extra step to grind and scuff the concrete floor to reduce the risk of potential issues. Very refreshing working through a remodel project with a company that doesn't just sell flooring products or just install them, but one that is unmatched in knowledge as well as experience on both sides.
Another excellent experience for us! Turned our eyesore of a 3-seasons room into a place that is very cozy and a room we actually want to sit and relax in. Don was very communicative and easy to work with while we waited for the stubborn weather to warm up a little bit to allow for a proper install. Installation was fast (around 3 hours) and the crew was very polite and professional. Would recommend!
