Excellent customer service by Andre and the entire team at Flooring Canada.We recently received defective flooring purchased at Flooring Canada for a kitchen renovation. Many of the boards were damaged and had defects stemming from poor quality control by the manufacturer. Flooring Canada was in no way responsible for the manufacturing problems. Andre was able to quickly resolve the issue to our entire satisfaction and we were able to exchange the defective flooring for a product of superior quality. Andre was very proactive, helpful and friendly, acting on our behalf in what could have been a messy dispute with the manufacturer. He was able transform what might have been a very stressful situation into a very positive customer experience.The installation of the flooring, carried out by a professional from Flooring Canada, was completed recently. The installer was meticulous and highly skilled. We are delighted with our beautiful new kitchen floor.We are very grateful for the excellent customer service provided by Andre and the entire team at Flooring Canada.
We purchased flooring from Flooring Canada on two occasions, and both experiences were fantastic thanks to Andre. The first time, we selected luxury laminate flooring for my apartment, and the second time, we chose carpeting for another unit. Andre was attentive to our needs, offered excellent product recommendations, and provided samples for us to take home. Most importantly, he took the time to listen to our goals and guided us effectively. I would absolutely recommend Flooring Canada, and I would certainly request Andre again!
Two years ago we had a very bad experience with another supplier who has been serving Ottawa for decades. Two of three rooms done and they showed up with only 2/3 of the needed materials. We had to wait another week with a half finished living room and a second installation appointment.Steve was 100% professional and was able to get the same flooring for our third room. Delivery was on time; installer was great.If we had not run of rooms to do I would continue to buy from Steve.
After touring all of Ottawa's flooring stores, we finally found the flooring we wanted for our renovation which included flooring for our whole living space of kitchen, living, dining, hallway & 2 bedrooms.When we spoke with Steve, he was so informative & knowledgeable with regard to the flooring & humidity levels in the home etc., no other company had even mentioned this.When we went to put the order in for the flooring, it was on back order, but Steve went the extra mile & worked with another customer in order to get the flooring to us in order to fit with our construction schedule.We are delighted with our new flooring & will certainly be using Flooring Canada again for any other flooring needs.Thanks Steve
Made a small order to supplement a tile project that I already had some stock for. They guaranteed they could get me the same tile (I provided all of the product identifiers), and unfortunately it wasn’t the same (company claims same tile different die number, whatever that means?). Hey so what, that happens I was fine.That’s where the problem started. I kindly asked to be reimbursed the $100 for the one box of tile. The owner Steve went out of his way to be as rude as he possibly could, acting like he had just been rejected. He continues by being rude to his colleague and other client that were next to us telling them to “move away, this is my space” so that he could continue to gaslight me into keeping the tile.He then continues to try and convince me the products look the same. Then when I tell him I’ll just not use the tile intended, he assumes I’ll be looking for new tile at their location!? He then checks to see if I can be reimbursed (as if it was a question), and has his crony gave me the return slip. I asked his position: “owner!” And then asked if he treats everyone like that (clearly me, and his employees and their clients).I was hoping to wake up, but nope that just happened.Word of advice to that entire outfit: Customer service starts after the sale not before. All smiles when selling, all scowls for anything else. It was also clear there are some inter work conflicts going on. Also, when I first walked in a salesman was sleeping at his desk.
