Awesome customer service. Mike greeted me at the door and got the right people to help. He made experience easy, friendly and helpful
Great assistance from the team at Floor Decor. Design member Emily was knowledgeable, patient and customer focused making the Scarborough location the right one for our bathroom remodel project.
Happened to be in the area so we took our chances to look and see what other options for bathroom tile was out there besides the limited ones at the the 2 big box stores. We found plenty more options, much better prices and the helpful staff was amazing! They gave us a great deal! Will absolutely take the time and drive to shop with them again!!
I'm doing a total bathroom remodel so I stopped into Floor and Decor to get tile samples. Each time I returned items they had difficulty finding my receipt. I was told that my receipts could be found under my phone number, but I had difficulty each time. They kept asking if it was under a different phone number and I told them each time that I only have 1 phone number. Eventually, they were able to retrieve the receipt and refund my money... until yesterday. The manager had to come over as the sales associate, who was helpful and apologetic, was having difficulty locating my receipt. The manager couldn't find my receipt either and told me I could have a store credit. I told her I didn't want a store credit because I decided to get my tile elsewhere since I've had such a hard time returning things. The whole point of buying samples is to bring them home and see if they work. She kept repeating the same thing and again I told her I didn't need or want a store credit...I wanted my money refunded. You would think that they would want to keep a customer happy esp. since it was only $22.00 worth of returns. This was a terrible experience and I will never shop there again.
I have referred clients to this store and now I feel the need to call them and retract it before they make a horrible mistake. I attempted to become a customer tonight. Will be remodeling a new home with all new flooring, two large tiled bathrooms and kitchen backsplash. It will not be with their products. From the moment we walked in, we understood it was truly “self service” as nobody offered to help or answer questions. When we asked a young man if he could help us (taking him away from playing on his phone) he responsed with “it depends on your question”. We moved on and decided to look for our own answers. After spending an hour loading up our cart we headed to the register. I asked the cashier if the grout I selected was good for a shower. He read the package and said “it should be okay”. I asked if there was anybody who could confirm…we needed your expertise. Well that’s a joke! The person he called said “I can’t come now, we’re counting cash”. Seriously!?? That dude should be fired immediately. Retail 101 is you count cash when the store closes and you don’t ignore your customers in order to do so. Now I understand why your parking lot is always empty. Looks like the next time you count cash during retail hours, you’ll have $5000 less of it because you won’t have mine
