Our carpet was installed 2 years ago. There was a tear in the carpet before our warrenty' was up. I called and Kevin answered and told me that he will get back with me but didn't happen. 6 months later I called the store to find out why I didn't receive and answer back. No answer. I wrote a bad review and Kevin and Dion got back to me. Both was sincere in their appologies. Dion sent a repairman out and took care the the damaged carpet. I appreciate both Kevin and especially Dion for making it right with me. I will be looking to be a customer again in the perhaps near future. This is an updated review. My thanks to Dion and I would recommend Portland Floor to anyone.
We have used Becca at Portland floors for three different houses. She was so helpful and patient with us. We loved working with her and would recommend Becca and Portland Floors 100% We did some price comparisons and felt they were very competitive. But, having the personal help and experience versus just being a customer in a big box store was invaluable. The installers were on time, polite and did a great job. I can't imagine going anywhere else for carpet and flooring.

Even Though there were some hiccups along the way the overall experience with Portland Floor was great. We were left with one of the most beautiful floors I have ever seen, it really changed the look of our house. From Zac at the store, who lend me lots of samples to take home and was super patient and helpful, Simona who facilitated all the pricing and quotes and helped with communication throughout the process, David's team, who despite being super young were really experienced, responsible and did an gorgeous job, Ben, the project manager, who supervised all the work and made sure I was completely satisfied with the result, he even came with his tech guy months after the job was done to replace a couple of boards I wasn't happy about. Bottom line, I would work with them again and recommend them 100%.
Portland Floor did amazing work installing new hardwood floors, re-finishing and matching our existing floor and lacing in and was priced incredibly well. They were very professional and left the inside of our home nicer than they found it. My only complaint is their communication is really bad. Getting calls returned, questions answered or scheduling details confirmed took a lot of engagement. If you want great work done, these are the people who can do it, but be prepared to spend extra time tracking people down.
