I am editing my previous review. Floor Zone came to my house 5 months ago to repair problems with my Coretec vinyl plank flooring that they installed 7 years ago. Last month I found several more damaged areas and requested that they repair these also. Coretec has a lifetime warranty. This time they stated that they could not find my original invoice (which they never gave to me because I was out of state at the time) even though I was able to provide them the dates and prices that I was charged on my credit card. They said that they most they could offer was to have me purchase the replacement planks and they would install them "at cost". Seriously?? This product supposedly has a lifetime warranty...EXCEPT if the problem is due to faulty installation. I can only guess that Floor Zone believes that they installed the floor improperly 7 years ago and that is why they are unwilling to help me? I asked them for information on how to file a warranty claim, but they have not responded to my request. Very disappointed in their lack of professionalism and inability to stand by the products they sell. And why are they unable to find my invoice? Do businesses toss customer invoices after a year or two? They state in several reviews that they are "under new ownership". So what?? The business still exists and they should still honor work that was done under that business's name.
I had Floor Zone handle two different people projects in my house, and both turned out beautifully. The workmanship was top-notch from start to finish, and they made the process smooth and stress-free. On top of that, the cost was fair and affordable for the excellent results delivered. I’m very impressed and will definitely use them again.
I’m extremely disappointed in the communication with you guys. Clearly my floor was installed by an incompetent worker… your worker. Ive had issues since it’s been installed. I’ve had several repairs from sliding and the only thing that is truly the problem is the poor and rushed insulation. I’ve left voicemails, emails, even spoke with the owner just to be ignored. Andres, who has fixed the floor before, says he will fix it but charge me. I should not be charged because my floor was installed by your workers poorly. I should get it fixed for free for the life of this floor. Your website says 100% customer satisfaction, yet you are leaving a customer totally unsatisfied and disappointed in you.UPDATE! 10/26/2023Someone today said "fixes problem customer satisfied" but I'm still waiting to get the last problem fixed. The two other issues were done quickly and sloppy. First, I was told he would arrive between 10-11am. At 12:25 pm he showed after I texted his boss. Secondly , since I was unable to be there, he just shot nails into my quarter round without fixing any damage he had done. Ive continually been texting with someone at floor zone about the third problem that was not fixed, yet nothing has been scheduled. Also, I Paid an amount agreed on to get these problems fixed since it warranty was expired (even though the original install was the issue here). Ive uploaded pictures of the holes in my quarter round and the boards that are lifted and unfixedUPDATE 2! 11/17/2023The contractor who I paid the agreed price through floor zone came over 2 weeks ago, looked at the floor and agreed with me. said he needed to talk to someone at floor zone. Ive reached out 3 times, finally getting a hold of him today. He let me know he no longer works with "floor zone". This means my floor is still unfixed. Ive reached out via Email, Text, and through website today... lets see what Floor Zone will do. Im just a unsatisfied customer who has been treated terribly and deserves to have his floor fixed.UPDATE 3! July 1st 2025I received a message from owner on my review stating i was never a customer. Ive updated my photos to show my paid invoice from my job a few years back (invoice 031920-04). Fyi The "indestructible" floor I was sold does not withstand normal wear and tear. The seams break and separate, I have several Cracks and gaps that I have been Sliding, gluing, and nailing down. Dear owner: I will not take down my review. I was sold a bad floor, with a bad install, and have had bad customer service when you would try to fix it. .... you want me to take it down? give me a new floor.
I replaced my carpet with hardwood floor. Floor zone has some good collection of hardwood. The service was excellent, and the work was professionally done. When I brought up a minor observation, they offered to fix it without questions. Pricing is very competitive.Overall, it was a great experience.
Floor Zone did a great job on a challenging project!!! I have a covered porch that I recently converted to a 3-season sunroom, and I had no idea how challenging it would be to find a quality contractor that could convert my concrete foundation to Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring. I contacted several vendors- many of them declined the job offhand because they didn't have a product that worked for a 3-season room that isn't climate controlled, and another vendor wasn't confident that he could do a good job. Jon from Floor Zone knew right away that he had an LVP product that worked in a 3-seaon room, in a color that was similar to the flooring in the rest of my house, and he was confident that his company could do a good job. When the installation team arrived, they walked me through exactly what they planned to do before they got started, and they made sure I was comfortable with the plan. I am very happy with my flooring and I'm so excited to see this next phase of my sunroom take shape! Thanks Floor Zone for all of your work!
