Good customer service with getting an estimate
We just had our kitchen, bathroom, and downstairs bedroom floors replaced by Dave's Flooring America. We could not be more pleased with our new floors. We have an old house and the installation was amazing despite having uneven floors. My floor are absolutely beautiful. I would not use anyone else for floor replacement.
5 Stars for Dave’s Flooring America!My husband, Tamen, and I bought a house back in October and wanted to remove the carpet upstairs. We hoped to match the existing vinyl hardwood in the kitchen, but unfortunately couldn’t find an exact match. Dave came out to measure and walk us through our options for different areas of the home.Jannette, their designer, and John in sales were also incredibly helpful in-store! They gave us plenty of time to browse without pressure and encouraged us to take home samples to see how they looked in our space (and how well they'd hide golden retriever hair ??).Once we decided to move forward and scheduled the install, there were a few minor hiccups with the timeline, but the team did a great job communicating and keeping us updated. Simon from SW Flooring, who handled the subcontracted install, was also fantastic—professional, detailed, and kept us informed every step of the way.All in all, we are SO happy with the results! This was a big investment for us, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out. Thank you so much—we’d recommend Dave and the team again and again!
Five years ago we purchased premium vinyl plank from Dave’s Flooring America. They installed the floor but it was not the floor we ordered. The color was close, but had a design making the floor look dirty. They tried to sell us on keeping the wrong floor, but when the sun hit it, it looked like a cat walked on the floor and looked dirty. The owner Dave came to our house and admitted it was the wrong floor. It took 3 months for Dave’s Flooring to remove the incorrect floor and put in the one we wanted. We paid the full amount for the floor which included no discount for THEIR error.Fast forward five years and the plank was coming up in several spots. I called the business to get one of their techs to repair the floor and did not ask for any favors, discounts or any thing special, just wanting to pay to have the floor fixed.Dave the owner comes out, looks at the floor and says “you have the absolute worst chairs for this floor. They are chairs with rollers on the bottom. This was never mentioned to us not to use these type of chairs. If this is an issue with that floor, either the manufacturer or the business selling this product should advise that customer of a possible issue. Dave said he “would contact the manufacturer and see if/what something could be done and get back to us.It has now been over FIVE months and owner Dave still hasn’t got back to us.Well, Dave’s Flooring America, we got tired (again) of waiting for you..we tore out all your vinyl plank and installed Oak hardwood floors throughout the upstairs.
I have done a lot of flooring projects in my day. First time to Dave's Flooring America and there is no reason I will ever go anywhere else. All the staff was super helpful. They are all professionals who know EXACTLY what you want even if you aren't the best at describing it. Aggressive Pricing, everything quick and easy.Plus they have all the resources to install anything you buy from them as well! I live about 40 min away on the other side of Sioux Falls and I will drive past all the competition on my way back to Dave's Flooring America the next time I need anything Floors!
