STAY AWAY. They have a high employee turnover rate, I’ve had to deal with 3 different “project managers” since my project started and no one is on the same page. Communication is very difficult with them. They tell you their work is warrantied and but then find any excuse to not fix their mistakes. We had LVP laid and twice they’ve had to replace the transition strips and they’re still coming up because their team doesn’t know what they’re doing. Once they get their money, they’re done dealing you.
My wife and I wanted to get our floors redone in our home and, after some research, chose Perfect Choice Flooring over Floor & Decor because they're a smaller local company, and we wanted to support a small business. We met with Jonny Sibrian, who came out to our home to provide a quote and other information. Jonny was awesome and professional.Once everything was signed off and work was scheduled, that's when things took a turn for the worse. The crew that came out was some of the most unprofessional folks I've ever dealt with. My entire home turned into a chaotic construction site: loud music was blasted, the front door was left wide open while my AC was running full blast. Four out of our five bathrooms were used without permission and left disgusting. On a Friday, they asked if they could skip Saturday and finish on Monday instead—this was appalling, as I'm not in charge of their schedule, so whoever was managing them decided to passively put it off on me, the customer.After the installation was complete, we were initially happy—until we started having issues with the stair nose on our stairs. We went back and forth several times to find a solution, which was tiresome because the communication was horrendous. I constantly had to call to get updates. The stair nose issue was eventually fixed, but then we had another problem with our stairs: nails protruding from the planks, which is unacceptable and a safety hazard.I reached out again, and after some back and forth, Perfect Choice said they'd send someone out but I'd have to pay. This didn't sit well with my wife and me, especially since we were still within the warranty period. I personally went down to talk to Jonny and explained the situation, but of course, he didn't remember me and was very cold. He stated they didn't know if my subfloors were like that already. I explained that if that was the case, their floor guy should have noticed it before prepping the floor. Either way, he said this would end up being a "he said, she said" situation, which left a bad taste in my mouth as I felt my integrity was being questioned.Needless to say, to this day we still have nails protruding from our floors on the stairs, and Perfect Choice couldn't care less since they've been paid. Would I recommend this company? If cost is your only concern, you can definitely get better pricing than a big box store. But customer service after you sign the contract is nonexistent, and any warranty work? Forget about it—you'll get the runaround and it'll be hard to get a hold of anyone. Overall, would I recommend Perfect Choice? Absolutely not!Update: Someone did call while we were at a College tour with our Daughter. We called back, and have not heard back from anyone.
We are selling our home and are preparing for an open house. We needed to have our carpet stretched and repaired. I called Perfect Choice Flooring and explained our issue. Within a couple hours Miguel and his assistant arrived and fixed the carpet. It looks like new. There is no evidence that there was ever a problem. We would highly recommend this company.
We had Perfect Choice Flooring install a ceramic tile floor in our florida room and we LOVE it!!! We could not be happier!! The entire experience, from first contact with Tony in the store, through the installation, could not have gone smoother. Carlos and Pedro, the installers did an outstanding job!! Everyone involved was very professional. The price was excellent. We had an estimate from another flooring store, which was double the price of this one. It was so refreshing to find a business who actually follows through on their promises. We would give them more than 5 stars if we could!!
Perfect Choice Flooring installed our herringbone hardwood floors in June and kitchen backsplash in October.The entire process with the company was seamless and caused no hassle at all. Matthew and Christian are professional and easy to deal with.The flooring work took about eight days to complete (our condo is around 2,400 square feet). That includes demo and installation. The backsplash was done in just a few hours over two days.Both projects came out awesome with better-than-expected results. The flooring and backsplash completely change the look of the condo — for the better, definitely increasing the value.I highly recommend Perfect Choice Flooring if you’re in the Tampa area.
