Words cannot properly describe the amazing job that Jay and Hassan at ARC Flooring did with the hardwood installation for my basement and staircase, but if you take nothing else away from this review, let it be this: save yourself the trouble of looking around, there is absolutely no one better than the guys at ARC Flooring.I had initially reached out to ARC Flooring to get a quote to replace the carpet in my basement and staircase with engineered hardwood, and Jay was quick to respond with a price estimate that was very competitive and that clearly identified the different steps involved in the job from start to finish.Jay and Hassan came on site shortly afterwards to survey it, take measurements, and bring some samples of hardwood for me to choose from based off some examples that I had previously sent them, and after taking delivery of the chosen hardwood some days later, Jay and Hassan were back to start the work on the basement and staircase.They worked meticulously on every detail, and with the amount of care and attention they put in to make sure everything looked perfect you would think they’re working on their own property. It’s not just a job to them – they take pride in their work and it really shows.As you can see from the pictures, they did a masterful job, but not only with the original scope of work. The way Jay and Hassan solved problems that arose during what should have been a routine installation under normal circumstances is truly what sets them apart – and let me tell you there were many.With what they went through, they probably would have had a fair argument to abandon the job entirely, but like true professionals they always found the answers to every single problem, even things they had never seen before, and executed perfectly.ARC Flooring is the only place I’ll call when we eventually do the other floors in the house, and if you have any project in mind you should choose ARC Flooring as well, knowing that Jay and Hassan are there to do the job efficiently and with exceptional quality.
Jay was super professional and executed the work like one as well. Completed 3 different spots of flooring and made sure it was done to perfection. He was also able to locate a specific style of parquet flooring that was hard to come by which was a big plus. Would recommend for anyone looking for a flooring job.
We hired ARC Flooring after we had a big flood in our condo. Not only did Jay respond quickly to our inquiries and answer all the questions we had regarding this process, rather he informed us of everything we needed to know and made sure we were asking the right questions. He helped us with dealing with our insurance company and made changes to his invoice promptly upon request (scope of work changes). Jay truly is an excellent problem solver and communicated with us excellently throughout the whole process. The vinyl flooring he supplied was competitively priced, and was installed aesthetically and according to our condos rules. They worked within the allotted condo schedule and finished the project within the given timeline. They even hired a cleaner to clean out while condo free of charge after completion! We contacted Arc Flooring to help us with the red oak floors in our newly purchased home, they were dark and in rougher shape (scratches , separation etc). Jay responded quickly, came to give us a quote and set up the job. The team did an amazing job, we came home to absolutely no dust, and beautifully smooth and renewed floors. They were able to lighten them up for us, which has truly changed the look of our home and brought new life to the red oak. We are so happy we went with ARC instead of considering replacement, it kept perfectly good hardwood out of the landfill and gave us the look we were going for!
